Privacy Policy

Overview

Real Online Calculator ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it. The short version: we collect very little data and we never sell it.

Calculations Are Private

All calculator computations run entirely in your web browser using JavaScript. No calculation inputs, results, or intermediate values are transmitted to our servers. Your financial figures, health metrics, and personal numbers never leave your device.

Information We Collect

We may collect the following when you use this site:

  • Server logs — standard web server logs including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, and pages visited. Retained up to 30 days for security and diagnostics, not linked to personal identity.
  • Analytics — aggregated, anonymized usage statistics (page views, session duration, device type). No cross-site tracking. No fingerprinting.
  • Contact form submissions — if you contact us, we store your name, email address, and message content solely to respond to your inquiry.
  • Local storage — your theme preference (light/dark) is stored in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device.

Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies. We do not use advertising cookies. Your browser may store session data automatically, but we do not set persistent cookies for analytics or marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

We do not embed third-party advertising networks. We do not share data with data brokers. Any third-party analytics provider we use is configured in cookieless, IP-anonymized mode with no cross-site data sharing.

Data Retention

Server logs are deleted after 30 days. Contact form messages are retained only as long as necessary to resolve your inquiry, and no longer than 12 months. We do not build user profiles.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. Contact us to exercise these rights and we will respond within 30 days.

CalcDock Mobile App

This policy also covers CalcDock, our companion calculator app for Android and iOS. CalcDock does not require an account or sign-in.

  • Calculator data — every calculation, your calculation history, and your theme and currency preferences are stored only on your device. None of this is transmitted to us or to any third party.
  • Purchases — premium calculator packs are sold as in-app purchases through Google Play Billing / Apple's App Store, and processed using RevenueCat, a subscription-management provider. RevenueCat receives purchase and transaction identifiers and an anonymous app-user identifier to validate and restore your purchases; it does not receive your calculator inputs or results.   • Ads — the free version of CalcDock may display ads served by third-party ad networks (such as Google AdMob). These networks may collect device and advertising identifiers to deliver and measure ads, governed by their own privacy policies. A one-time "Remove Ads" purchase turns ads off entirely.
  • No analytics SDKs — CalcDock does not contain analytics software of any kind.

Delete Your CalcDock Data

CalcDock, published by GeekHDev, stores your calculator history, theme, and currency preferences only on your device. Uninstalling the app deletes this data immediately — there is nothing for us to remove on our end.

The only data we hold elsewhere is a purchase record (via RevenueCat) tied to an anonymous device identifier, used solely to restore your premium calculator packs.

To request deletion: contact us with your Google Play Order ID (found in the Play Store app under Order history) and ask us to delete your CalcDock purchase record. We will remove it from RevenueCat within 30 days.

Retained: Google Play's own order and billing records are controlled by Google, not us, and can't be deleted through this process — see Google Play's own policies for that data.

Children's Privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
